I am a very passionate teacher and really have a love
for the game, my goal as a teacher is to enhance the students playing ability
and overall enjoyment of the game by teaching a swing that is efficient. I
would like to begin each lesson by interacting with my students to make them
feel comfortable while also learning about their
personality. Communicating with my students about their
current level of play and goals is very crucial to their achievement.
While there are certain laws and principles in the golf swing that I do believe
that there is no one swing method is right for one individual. I also believe
that every golfer has the ability to improve whether it be their putting, short
game, full swing or course management. These improvements can
come quickly by learning to be more consistent with important
fundamentals such as the grip, alignment, pre-shot routine, and setup.
My teaching philosophy would revolve around the
student’s learning style. Some students like to keep it simple, while
others like to know how everything works. Either way, I am committed to
making them a better player. While it takes some students more time to
achieve the results they desire, I do believe that improving is hard work and
takes time, practice, and patience to
see results. Rarely, do I ever think quick fixes translate into long-term
improvements. My goal of each lesson would be to see the student achieve better
results that day while building a foundation for long-term success. It’s important
to understand the cause of poor results, but more importantly, how to
effectively fix them through the use of videos, drills, and teaching aids.
